This song was the first song I wrote using the Translitic writing approach. The song grew out of a Hebrew poem that I looked at and responded to by "translating" it into English, not knowing the language or what the poem was about. I find this approach freeing, exciting, and fun because it is more about discovery, intuition and gut response. It is like an abstract painting of a song.
